THE WINERY
Established in 2013, Fabbrica Pienza produced its first wines in collaboration with a local winery. Our contemporary winery was inaugurated in 2016, located in the vineyard and designed by Antonie Bertherat-Kioes, the same architect and interior designer as Casa Newton. Experimenting with different grape varieties to craft something different in the Val d’Orcia, Fabbrica Pienza produces signature wines with a captivating sense of place.
Atypical for the wine region, the striking building stands at the heart of the 150-hectare estate, proudly producing approximately 35,000 to 40,000 bottles of organic wine and luscious organic olive oil annually.
Our concierge team can arrange a wine and olive oil tasting as well as a tour of our innovative winery, located just a 10-minute walk through Casa Newton’s vineyard.
